Mercy Relief launched an exclusive photographic exhibition – the first of its kind in Singapore – to promote the work they do around the world. Our design was inspired by the singular building material that the survivors used to rebuild their life and by the photographers who were in Aceh and Sri Lanka volunteering with Mercy Relief missions. The exhibition was dedicated to the victims and survivors of the Asian tsunami disaster. Titled ‘Glimpses of Light’, the pictorial works in this exhibition have captured the resilience, hope and optimism shown by the tsunami survivors. It is also a platform for the public to share, learn and heal from this calamity and pay tribute to the survivors.
